— SBD Recognizes Its Military Roots —
Our daily tribute to our hometown heroes is the Norton Air Force Base Museum, which recognizes the brave people who put service before self to protect our nation.
Before we were SBD, we were the Norton AFB from 1942 – 1994, a time when countless military personnel and civil servants worked at the base or passed through to meet our nation’s call for duty.
The nonprofit museum, located at SBD, is open to the public and admission is free, but donations are welcome. Location and opening hour details are here.
