SBD International Airport has come a long way since its early days as the former Norton Air Force Base. Thanks to the efforts of visionary federal, state, and local leaders who re-imagined a base reuse plan, the airport is now thriving, with air cargo, corporate and general aviation, and other aviation support services operating on the airfield.
