San Bernardino International Airport Welcomes Breeze Airways

 — Daily Nonstop Service to SFO, with One-Stop, Same-Plane Service to Provo, Utah —

San Bernardino International Airport (SBD) welcomed many of their good neighbors over the past few weeks as the airport launched first-ever scheduled commercial passenger flights on Breeze Airways.

Inland Empire residents and businesses are now choosing SBD for the convenience and affordability the airport and airline offer. Breeze Airways offers daily nonstop flights from SBD to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) with connections to the U.S.including one-stop, same-plane service via SFO to Provo Airport (PVU) in Utahand the world.

As the former Norton Air Force Basewhich has been revitalized through the vision of local, regional, and federal leaders over the past 30 yearsSBD marked local history launching this new service on August 4th.

Beyond new, convenient and affordable airline flights to SFO, PVU and beyond, the travel experience at SBD includes easy driving access from local roadways and freeways, on-site parking just footsteps from the passenger terminal at only $5 per day, and a pre- and post-security concession operated by a local restaurateur.

Breeze Airways’ daily service contributes up to $57 million annually to the local economy through visitor travel-related activities within the community. It also means new aviation careers locally, including ticketing and gate agents, ground handlers, TSA employees, flight attendants, pilots, aircraft mechanics and concessionaires.
