Noise comments received from neighbors in July – September 2021 reflect an overall decrease compared to the same period last year and also the previous quarter.
This is despite:
- Continued growth in airport and aircraft operations at SBD, and
- Ongoing outreach to neighbors to encourage feedback via the Good Neighbor Program.
Compared to July – September 2020, year-over-year comments decreased by more than two-thirds and the number of households filing comments decreased by more than half.
This quarterly report marks one full year since the Good Neighbor Program was launched in July 2020.
