Additional air-cargo operations and innovative airport facilities will bring careers, goods, and prosperity to the region, but may also lead to questions and concerns from those who live nearby. The SBD Good Neighbor Program is designed to help the SBD International Airport to both educate and learn from its community.
The SBD Good Neighbor Program will inform residents about what to expect about operational changes at the airport and how those changes will benefit the entire community. It will also provide two-way communication channels: as the airport shares information, community members will provide feedback, both positive and constructive. By committing to a continuous dialogue, sharing up-to-date information, and increasing opportunities for well-paying careers, this program will ensure that the SBD International Airport remains a good neighbor.
