We’re reinvesting in our terminal and airfield over the next few months to elevate the travel experience. Here’s a preview of important customer service and safety upgrades coming to San Bernardino International Airport (SBD).

Domestic Terminal

These amenities will soon be available to travelers beyond security screening:

• Family Room – A private lactation room for parents to comfortably nurse or pump while traveling
• Animal Relief Area – A private area for service animals and other pets approved to fly onboard, equipped with water, waste bags, and garbage receptacles

Airfield Upgrades

Airfield upgrades to ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations include completing an overall pavement management plan as well as these specific projects:

• Taxiway “A” pavement reconstruction
• Asphalt shoulder improvements
• Airfield restriping

While contractors and construction activity may be noticeable at SBD, know that our goal is to minimize any inconvenience as we enhance the airport for travelers.
